Manzanillo is located in the State of Colima in the Golden Mexican Pacific, regarded the most famous deep- sea port on the Mexican Pacific.
It is located on the shipping lines routes coming over from Far East, and North and Centre of South America. Its Geographical locations allows Manzanillo magnificent landscapes, breathtaking sunsets, beautiful golden beaches, spectacular views of the bay and sunny days. During the 16th century the Spanish conquistadors took advantage of the ideal topography of Manzanillo’s twin bays to establish a port and the first ship building yard in the Americas. In 1564, Spanish galleons sailed from Manzanillo to conquer the Phillipines, and later, the famous Nao of China arrived here.
In the 1960s, Manzanillo began to develop on the international tourism scene. Today it is one of the favorite beach destinations for visitors from Canada and the United States who come to Mexico’s Mexican Pacific coastline.
